The Painted Pride: A Deaf Leader’s Inclusive Art Workshop is a one-day, inclusive arts event in Indonesia designed to enable children with special needs to explore creativity through tote bag painting. It emphasizes accessibility and Deaf leadership, providing art materials and trained volunteers to support participation. The project was funded by The Pollination Project’s seed grant to enable supplies, transportation, and participant recognition items for 20 students with special needs and 19 volunteers.

Participants received their own painted tote bags and certificates; volunteers received training in inclusive communication; the event itself provided transportation and supplies for 20 students and 39 participants overall.
