Bright Beginnings Library: A Place to Read and Grow

The Bright Beginnings Library is a seed grant-funded project at St. Augustine Roman Catholic Mission Primary School 2 in Imeko, Ogun State, Nigeria, providing a library space with books, furniture, and library staff to foster reading and literacy among over 300 learners. The initiative refurbishes space, supplies materials, and integrates the library into daily school life with student librarians and teacher involvement to sustain reading culture. The project aims to create a replicable library model for underserved schools and to connect with partners and volunteers to scale impact.
