Information

The FranceMobil lecturer placement selects young native French speakers to spend a ten-month school-year in Germany delivering interactive language and cultural workshops in schools across a single federal state. Participants are placed in a regional team, receive pedagogical training and run classroom animations to promote French language learning. The placement is cohort-based and intended as an intercultural professional experience for recent graduates or those taking a gap year.

Benefits

Monthly stipend of €1,300 for 10 months; travel and teaching costs covered; intensive pedagogical training and professional experience in German schools.

Eligibility

Applicants must be native-level speakers of French aged between 20 and 30, have French language proficiency at mother-tongue level and German at least B1, and hold a Licence 2 / Bac+2 (or equivalent). Candidates should enjoy working with children and young people.

Application

Apply via the online application form; shortlisted candidates invited in April to an on-site selection with an animation demonstration and interview before a three-person jury.
