Accelerator Center Faculty Positions, Institute of High Energy Physics (IHEP), CAS

The Accelerator Center at the Institute of High Energy Physics (IHEP), Chinese Academy of Sciences, is recruiting international research and engineering staff at multiple career levels. Positions include Full Professor and Associate Professor (including tenure-track) focused on accelerator science, technology and related research areas. Appointments offer research responsibilities in the design, construction and operation of large-scale accelerator facilities and related R&D such as plasma wakefield acceleration.

Start-up funding, competitive salary, housing subsidy, well-furnished rental apartments, relocation expenses, insurance package, assistance with settling in and enrolling children in kindergarten and school.

Full Professor: professor or equivalent from a well-known overseas university or research institute with broad international influence; Associate Professor: at least three years of continuous postdoctoral experience at a reputable overseas university or research institute, preferably under 40 years of age.
