Priority Programme CodeChi (SPP 2416)

The Priority Programme CodeChi (SPP 2416) is a DFG-funded research programme focused on chitin, chitosan and chito-oligosaccharides and their interactions with extracellular matrix proteins and cellular signaling. It supports interdisciplinary research projects that decipher the molecular, structural and biophysical principles of C/CS/COS (CodeChi) and the development of related functional materials. The present call invites proposals for the second three-year funding period of the six-year programme.

Project funding through the DFG Priority Programme and access to central Service Projects that provide chemically defined C/CS/COS, recombinant C/CS-binding proteins and analytical capabilities.

Submission of research proposals via DFG application procedures (elan portal referenced) and compliance with the programme's proposal requirements.
