Information

A competitive research grant call to support new knowledge about how coastal and fjord fish stocks are affected by changes in climate and the environment. Projects must focus on fish stocks that spend most of their life cycle in Norwegian fjords and coastal waters, including local resident stocks and areas around Svalbard. The call excludes large pelagic stocks and anadromous species and prioritises projects that cover thematic and geographical breadth.

Eligibility

The Project Owner must be an approved Norwegian research organisation. The project manager must hold an approved doctoral degree or equivalent before the application deadline, or have equivalent senior research qualifications. Collaborating partners may be approved Norwegian research organisations or equivalent foreign research organisations; companies and other types of organisations may not be collaborating partners.
