Follow-up on the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s report

Information

A call for research projects to strengthen knowledge about Sami and national minorities, their living conditions and relations with the majority society, with the aim of promoting justice, recognition and reconciliation. Projects must be based on the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's report and address one or more areas such as climate and environment, education and welfare, or language, history and culture. The call requires cross-sectoral, interdisciplinary research, involvement of non-academic reference groups, and active research collaboration in Norway or abroad. Recruitment positions may be included in funded projects.

Eligibility

The Project Owner must be an approved Norwegian research organisation. The project manager must hold an approved doctoral degree or equivalent before the application deadline, or have associate professor qualifications or equivalent researcher employment in the institute or health trust sector. Collaborating partners may be approved Norwegian research organisations or equivalent foreign research organisations.

Application

The Project Owner submits the application through the Research Council of Norway's new application system.
