Loneliness, exclusion and social inequality in health

Information

A competitive call for research projects that address loneliness and the connections between loneliness, exclusion and social inequality in health. Projects should target health-promoting and preventive measures, diagnosis/treatment/rehabilitation, or quality and efficiency in health, care and welfare services, and must involve end-users and relevant societal or business actors. The call prioritises projects with implementable measures, cross-sectoral cooperation, humanities perspectives and transdisciplinary collaboration.

Benefits

Research funding for projects that address the call's themes; NOK 15 million has been earmarked for projects with a significant humanities component.

Eligibility

The Project Owner must be an approved Norwegian research organisation. The project manager's expertise will be assessed by peers; there are no formal requirements for the project manager's qualifications. Collaborating partners and roles must be clearly described.

Application

The application must be submitted by the Project Owner on behalf of all partners via the Research Council's new application system; the Project Owner must have approved the submission.
