Encontro Ciência e Inovação 2026 – Call for proposals for Debate Nacional themes

The Encontro Ciência e Inovação 2026 invites groups from the scientific community, companies, organisations from various sectors and the public administration to submit proposals for themes to be debated at the event. Proposals will inform sessions and contribute to identifying strategic priorities for research and innovation in Portugal over the next five years. Submissions are made via a dedicated form and evaluated by the event’s Organising Committee, with a communication of acceptance expected on a specified date.

Groups from the scientific community, companies, and organisations across sectors and public administration may organise themselves into groups (minimum four members from at least three organisations) to propose topics.

Submit topic proposals via the Encontro Ciência e Inovação 2026 – Formulário before 16 June 2026; proposals will be evaluated by the Organising Committee and a public synthesis will be presented.
