Portugal secured three new ERC Proof of Concept (PoC) grants, each worth €150,000, to help ERC grantees progress towards commercialization or societal application of frontier research results. The projects are affiliated with Portuguese institutions and involve knowledge transfer and early-stage translation of fundamental research. The next PoC call is open to ERC grantees and is expected to support innovative paths from research to market or societal impact across Europe.
