Gémeos Digitais para Territórios Inteligentes

The DigitalTwins4SmartTerritories competition aims to develop digital twin solutions for intelligent territories. Proposals are to be led by consortia within Portugal’s national science and technology system, focusing on transforming public administration and territory management through open-format digital twins. The program funds and assesses projects based on scientific merit, feasibility, and potential impact for territorial governance.

Funding for selected projects (up to 1.5 million euros per project) and participation in the competitive evaluation process.

Consortia led by entities within the National Scientific and Technological System (SCTN) submitting proposals across nine priority areas.

Proposals were submitted to the competition as part of the DigitalTwins4SmartTerritories call.
