World Merit Online 2025

Information

GAIA Start for Councils is a three-month accelerator program designed to empower young changemakers to launch World Merit councils in their city and lead community projects aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals. The program provides mentorship, resources, and a global network to help councils establish themselves and drive impact.

Benefits

Mentoring from World Merit, professional development, access to a global network of councils, training on council creation and project implementation, opportunities to win grants through the GAIA Goalkeepers Prize at the end of the program.

Eligibility

Teams of three to five members aged 18 to 30, based in a location with no active World Merit council, committed to full participation for about 12 weeks in a virtual format.
