Festival Internacional de Teatro Universitario (FITU)

The Festival Internacional de Teatro Universitario (FITU) is a university theatre festival that features 12 exhibited works (six national and six international), 25 student proposals in competition, and accompanying activities such as workshops, conversations, dramatized readings, and two recognitions. It brings together university theatre communities from Mexico and other countries, along with professional and educational exchanges. The edition highlighted under the theme Ternura Radical emphasizes theatre as a space for care, coexistence, and collective expression.

Open to university-level participants; 25 student proposals are selected through a public call from six participating countries and 23 Mexican entities.

Proposals are submitted through a public call; selected works and student proposals are integrated into the festival program.
