Information

The Pupils' Essay Competition is a national contest for secondary school students devoted to the 100th anniversary of the first session of the Constituent Assembly (12 March 1919). Participants are asked to write an essay in Georgian reflecting on the role of parliamentarism and the Constituent Assembly based on historical facts and events. Winners receive diplomas and valuable prizes in first, second and third places and special jury nominations.

Eligibility

Students in grades X–XII of public and private schools in Georgia may participate. Essays must be written in Georgian and not exceed 1,000 words; author name, class and school must be indicated at the end of the essay.

Application

Schools submit competition essays to the relevant resource centre; resource centres forward submissions to the Ministry, which selects winners.
