Animated Video Competition "Living Paintings"

The Animated Video Competition "Living Paintings" is a national contest for general education school students to create short animated videos bringing Niko Pirosmani's paintings to life. Participants produce up to three-minute animated video works that may use digital or other existing resources as well as original student drawings, and must be soundtracked or musically arranged. The competition aims to develop students' creative skills and their use of information and communication technologies.

Winners receive diplomas and gift cards for computer equipment and accessories.

Students in grades VII–XII of general education institutions.

Students create an animated video (max 3 minutes). Schools organize a school round and select winners; winning works are submitted by resource centres to the ministry for final evaluation.
