Information

The Grant Competition for the Development of Vocational Education is a funding programme to support creation of new vocational education programmes or renewal of existing programmes in natural sciences, engineering and technologies, agriculture and tourism sectors. Grants are awarded to institutions and other legal entities engaged in vocational education and training and require employer/business participation, including co-financing. Projects must follow international standards on environment, social, health and safety, and gender issues. The selection process is two-stage: submission of a project concept followed by full application for applicants shortlisted at the first stage.

Benefits

Project grants between USD 300,000 and USD 3,000,000 to finance development or renewal of vocational education programmes.

Eligibility

State and private vocational schools, higher education institutions, companies, non-governmental organizations and other legal entities engaged in or planning to operate in the field of vocational education and training may participate.

Application

Two-stage submission: 1) submission of a project concept; 2) full application submitted only by applicants shortlisted after the first stage.
