Information

The Georgia Primary Education Project (G-PriEd) is a USAID-funded programme implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia to introduce innovative educational approaches in grades I–VI and improve student outcomes in reading and mathematics. The project supports development and implementation of a school-based professional development model, including teacher learning groups led by teacher facilitators and with school administration support. The programme also promotes community and parental engagement in the learning process. The ministry and G-PriEd are inviting all public schools in Georgia to participate via a announced competition for inclusion in the project.
