New Talents in Economics

The New Talents in Economics competition invites university students and recent graduates to submit research papers on any field of economics. The contest is international, conducted in English, and consists of two stages: written submission and a final presentation in Prague for selected finalists. Winners receive a monetary prize and access to an international network of leading economists and related events.

USD 1,000 prize for winners and access to an international network of leading economists, including attendance at related conferences and events.

University students (bachelor or master level) and recent graduates who completed their degree no more than two years earlier; applicants from any field of study interested in economics.

Submit a paper and extended thesis by email to talent@cerge-ei.cz for the first stage; selected finalists present their papers in Prague at CERGE-EI.
