Information

The Consultant-Teacher Selection is a competitive recruitment to place consultant-teachers in public schools as part of the "Teach for Georgia" program. Selected consultant-teachers teach a subject in a school and support the professional development of colleagues for at least one academic year. The role includes developing action plans based on the national curriculum, reporting each semester, and preparing a professional portfolio at the end of the year.

Benefits

One-year teaching placement; professional development responsibilities and access to center programmes and updates; salary supplement of 400–1000 GEL.

Eligibility

Applicants must have relevant higher education and/or a teacher certificate in the respective discipline and level; subject knowledge and knowledge of modern teaching methods are required. Teaching experience and participation in educational projects are desirable; certified teachers may be invited directly to interview.

Application

Register via www.tpdc.ge/teachers_registration. Selection has three stages: review of applications, testing in subject and pedagogical skills, and interview. Certified teachers skip the testing stage and are invited directly to interview.
