CANEX Book Factory Prize for Publishing in Africa 2025

The CANEX Book Factory Prize for Publishing in Africa 2025 invites African publishers of trade books to apply for this award. It recognizes excellence in African publishing and aims to elevate the literary and publishing value chain across the continent. The prize includes a substantial cash fund and opportunities for global exposure and networking at a major African trade event.

Cash prize, global recognition, showcase at the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF) in Algiers, networking opportunities with exhibitors and attendees, and visibility through Afreximbank’s Creative Africa Nexus initiative and media coverage.

Open to African publishers of trade books who are committed to showcasing African literature and cultural heritage and who meet quality and production standards.
