Outreachy Internship (December 2026–March 2027)

The Outreachy internship is a cohort-based program that supports diversity in free and open source software by placing interns with FOSS projects. The December 2026 to March 2027 cohort runs from 2026-12-07 to 2027-03-08 and includes an initial application period, a contribution period, and a final application phase. Accepted participants are announced prior to the internship period and follow the published intern payment schedule and program documentation.

Initial application opens and closes, project list is finalized, applicants participate in a contribution period, then submit a final application; accepted interns are announced before the internship period.
