About this opportunity

The African Plant Nutrition Institute (APNI) Scholarship Program 2025 offers ten scholarships of $2,000 to African graduate students in sciences related to plant nutrition and nutrient management in crops. The program is run by APNI, a not-for-profit research and education organization founded in 2019 and based in Africa. The scholarship supports students pursuing master's or doctoral studies at degree-granting institutions located in Africa.

Eligibility

Open to M.Sc., M.Phil., or Ph.D. students in soil science, agronomy, horticultural or tree crop science with a focus on plant nutrition who are attending a degree-granting institution located in Africa.

How to apply

Submit transcripts, two letters of support (one from the major professor), description of thesis/dissertation focus, and any additional relevant information; applications available in English or French.
