The Innovation for Impact Fund (IIF) is a competitive funding programme administered by the Cornell Atkinson Center for Sustainability to support use-inspired, interdisciplinary research co-created with non-academic partners. It funds collaborative projects and consortia that emphasize actionable, near-term results and pathways to impact, and it enables participation in multi-stakeholder consortia. Projects typically bring together Cornell faculty, professional staff, and external collaborators to develop tools, pilot applications, and implement practices that inform real-world policy and outcomes.
