Information

The EDF-Cornell Fast Grants provide flexible, time-sensitive funding to support collaborative EDF and Cornell teams addressing urgent, short-term (less than 12 months) opportunities with concrete deliverables. Up to four grants of $5,000 to $25,000 are awarded each academic year to enable quick action on policy engagement, data collection, workshops, or other time-critical activities. Proposals are reviewed rapidly with an aim to respond within two weeks and to make funding available promptly thereafter.

Project funding of $5K–$25K; expedited review (aim to respond within two weeks); funds transferred to Cornell proposer’s department or to EDF program as appropriate.

Eligibility

Applications are open to any Cornell University-eligible Principal Investigator.

Application

Submit an online proposal form and upload required materials (2-page proposal narrative, Excel budget for Cornell co-PI, EDF budget PDF when applicable, budget justification). Work with EDF contact to develop EDF budget. Follow provided budget templates and file-naming guidance.
