Information

The HASS Globetrotters Grant is a travel grant for students of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Queensland to support extra-curricular international opportunities that enhance employability. It supports initiatives such as conferences, leadership programs, research programs, professional development workshops, internships or field experience. Applicants must have identified and been accepted into an overseas extra-curricular opportunity by the host organisation. The grant is intended for students who have completed at least one semester of full-time study in an approved HASS program and who have not previously received the grant.

Eligibility

Applicants must be enrolled in a program administered by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (including dual programs), have completed at least one semester of full-time study in an approved program, be at least 18 years of age, have identified an extra-curricular overseas opportunity that will enhance employability and have been accepted into the proposed program or activity by the host organisation; previous recipients are ineligible.
