UNSW Science Vacation Research Scholarship

The UNSW Science Vacation Research Scholarship is a six-week summer scholarship placing high-achieving undergraduate students in supervised, research-based projects within the Faculty of Science. It is intended to expose students enrolled in science or related disciplines to scientific research and science-based experience, and to encourage consideration of research careers. Projects are full-time (35 hours/week) and must be completed by the end of February.

A six-week, full-time supervised research placement within UNSW Science during the Summer Semester (November to February).

Currently enrolled in second year or above of an undergraduate program in the Faculty of Science or a science-related discipline at UNSW or another Australian or New Zealand university; able to undertake a full-time (35 hours/week) six-week project; previous UNSW Science Vacation Research Scholarship recipients are ineligible; each candidate may hold only one such scholarship at a time.

Submit a UNSW Science Vacation Research Scholarship application attaching CV and academic transcripts as one PDF, and complete the UNSW Science Vacation Research Submission Form via the UNSW application portal; external applicants must register as a 'Future UNSW Student' and create a nine-digit login ID.
