Information

The Danielle Sirmai Memorial Award is a travel award to support an international internship, mooting programme, or a Learning Abroad Exchange or Short Course/Program. It aims to promote and foster further study of international arbitration or private international law and to develop expertise in these fields in Australia. The Award is named in memory of Danielle Nicole Sirmai (nee Feller).

Eligibility

Applicants must be a UNSW student enrolled in a Juris Doctor program, a postgraduate law program, or in the third year or above of an undergraduate dual program in Law; and be undertaking an international internship via the Law Faculty WIL program, a Learning Abroad Exchange or Short Course, or be accepted and enrolled in the International Law Competitive Moot or International Commercial Mediation Competition (specified course codes). Travel may take place in Term 3, 2026, Summer 2027, Term 1, 2027 or Term 2, 2027.
