Africa’s Business Heroes (ABH) Competition 2025

Africa’s Business Heroes (ABH) is a competition for African entrepreneurs. Ten finalists are selected to compete in a grand finale and can win a share of a $1.5 million grant funding pool, along with exposure, mentorship, and access to a network of entrepreneurs and partners. The program includes training, networking opportunities, and ongoing support to help scale participating businesses.

Grant funding up to $300,000 for finalists, global recognition and media exposure, exclusive entrepreneurial community and network, one-on-one mentorship, targeted training programs, and ongoing support to scale the business.

Applicants must be the founder or co-founder of the business, be an African citizen or a direct descendant of an African citizen, have a company registered and headquartered in Africa with at least three years of revenue and demonstrated market traction.
