Information

The UQ Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship is an academic scholarship within the University of Queensland Academic Scholarship program. It recognises high-achieving Year 12 students and supports entry to a UQ undergraduate program. The scholarship is maintained by funds from the University of Queensland and donors.

Eligibility

Applicants must achieve a minimum unadjusted ATAR of 99.90 (or equivalent), complete Year 12 in 2026 or 2025 (if on a gap year), not have completed previous tertiary study (except Year 11–12 studies), have applied through QTAC with UQ as their first QTAC preference at the specified time, and intend to enrol full-time in a UQ undergraduate program in 2027 (or 2028 if deferring). Eligible residency/citizenship includes Australian citizens, Australian Permanent Humanitarian Visa holders, Australian Permanent Residents, New Zealand citizens, or international students who completed Years 11 and 12 in Australia.
