Amazon Research Awards 2025 for Researchers

The Amazon Research Awards provide financial support and collaboration opportunities for researchers to advance their work in partnership with Amazon. The program funds innovative research across fields such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, sustainability, robotics, computer vision, and natural language processing, among others, with access to Amazon’s expertise and resources. Recipients receive support through gifts to their institution, preserving authorship and potential for open-source sharing.

Financial support through gifts to the recipient's academic institution or organization, ability to publish results and contribute related code to open-source repositories, ownership of research outputs with no Amazon IP rights, access to an Amazon research contact for guidance, and opportunities to participate in Amazon events and training sessions.

Researchers from academic institutions or organizations worldwide are eligible to apply, including faculty members, researchers, and scientists leading innovative projects.
