Information

The Asian Young Scientist Fellowship (AYSF) is a privately funded research fellowship that supports promising early-career scientists across Asia. It selects a cohort of Fellows across life sciences, physical sciences, and mathematics and computer science and provides funding to carry out creative and interdisciplinary research. Each selected Fellow receives support over a two-year period to help launch an independent research career. Fellows attend an annual AYSF conference to showcase their research and ideas.

Eligibility

Candidates are nominated from among full-time researchers at universities or research institutions in Asia who are within 10 years of completing their terminal degree (Ph.D./M.D.).

Application

Candidates are nominated by their institutions; a Selection Committee evaluates nominees based on research achievements and potential.
