The Darmasiswa Scholarship is a one-year non-degree cultural and language exchange programme funded by the Government of Indonesia and hosted at participating Indonesian universities. It offers intensive Bahasa Indonesia language study and courses in Indonesian culture, arts, music and traditions. The programme is available to international applicants and emphasizes cultural immersion and bilateral cultural relations. Participation does not lead to an academic degree but provides structured language and cultural training.
Benefits
Monthly stipend (4,700,000 IDR), one-time arrival allowance (4,700,000 IDR), one-time book allowance (2,000,000 IDR), accommodation and transport during orientation, intensive language and cultural courses.
Eligibility
Applicants must be foreign nationals (non-Indonesian), have completed secondary education (high school) or equivalent at minimum, and be between 18 and 32 years old for this edition.
