Communicators’ and Content Creators’ Workshop on Renewable Energy in Bhubaneswar

The Communicators’ and Content Creators’ Workshop on Renewable Energy is a three-day capacity-building workshop for communicators and social media content creators to deepen their understanding of renewable energy and improve reporting and storytelling skills. The workshop includes sessions with industry leaders and subject experts, hands-on training in solutions journalism and content creation, mentoring, and a field trip to observe renewable energy deployment. It targets professionals across print, online, radio, television and social media, including influencers, and emphasizes practical skills for engaging the public on the energy transition.

Open to communicators and content creators interested in renewable energy issues; primarily for those based in Odisha with applicants from neighbouring states eligible. Content creators should actively and frequently post short-form videos on major social platforms; communicators should actively report on environmental and/or energy issues. Applicants must commit to attending all days and permit republication of outputs.
