The Minerals Industry Flexible First Year Scholarship supports Flexible First Year students in the Faculty of Engineering who are transferring to full-time undergraduate study in the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Mining Engineering. It is awarded on the basis of academic merit and demonstrated aptitude and commitment to studies in Mining Engineering. The scholarship requires applicants to provide supporting documentation and adheres to UNSW Scholarships application procedures and deadlines.

Eligibility

Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident (including Humanitarian Visa Holders) or a New Zealand Citizen; currently enrolled as a Flexible First Year student within the Faculty of Engineering; and transferring to full-time undergraduate study (single or double) in the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Mining Engineering in Term 1, 2026.
