Information

The UNSW Arts, Design & Architecture Honours Scholarships are a set of merit-based scholarships for students commencing an undergraduate honours program in the Faculty of Arts, Design & Architecture. Specific named awards (for example the Fred Katz Award, Lucy Aspinall Photography Award and Easson Geha Award in Planning) support students in disciplines such as philosophy, fine arts (photographic and moving image practice) and city planning. Awards provide a one-year cash scholarship to assist students undertaking full-time honours study. Selection is based on academic merit and additional criteria specific to each named scholarship.

Benefits

$5,000 cash scholarship for one year for each named award (amounts listed per award).

Eligibility

Applicants must be commencing full-time undergraduate honours study (Terms 1, 2 or 3 2026). Some awards require domestic Australian citizenship (including Humanitarian Visa holders), Permanent Residency or New Zealand citizenship; other awards require commencement in specific honours programs or a focus in a particular practice/discipline. Applicants must provide supporting evidence in the online application.
