Pictoplasma Berlin 2027: Characters In Motion

The Characters In Motion strand is an international competition strand of the Pictoplasma Berlin 2027 Animation Festival for character-driven animation, motion graphics and experimental shorts. It accepts animated short films including experimental, narrative, non-narrative, commissioned, and student films from any country. Selected works will be screened as part of the Characters In Motion 2027 screenings and included in the official Pictoplasma Berlin 2027 festival programme. The festival focuses on contemporary character design across illustration, animation, games and interactive design.

Accepts animated short films (experimental, narrative, non-narrative, commissioned, or student films) from any part of the world.

Submit animated short films as Full HD Quicktime (ProRes 422 HQ or H.264 codec).
