Shine 2027 programme

Shine 2027 is an accelerator and grant programme by the Swiss Re Foundation for early-stage climate startups that have an MVP, are piloting or commercially active, and operate in urban contexts. It supports ventures addressing urban climate challenges with coaching, business development support, and potential follow-on funding, delivered in collaboration with Climate-KIC. The programme targets startups that are already testing real-world solutions in eight designated cities globally.

Access to Swiss Re specialists in risk, strategy and business development; leadership and executive coaching; support refining business model and go-to-market strategy; climate-innovation networks and ecosystem partners; assistance improving market readiness and organizational resilience.

Applicants should have an enterprise that is 0–4 years old, already operating with a minimum viable product, running a pilot or early commercial activity, and addressing an urban climate problem.
