Zukunftskolleg Postdoctoral Fellowships 2027

The Zukunftskolleg Postdoctoral Fellowships at the University of Konstanz offer two-year independent postdoctoral research positions for recent PhD graduates. Four fellowships are available, with a deadline of 12 October 2026 at 11:00 a.m. CET, and a preferred start date of 1 April 2027. Fellows receive a salaried position plus an individual research allowance and access to additional funding and support services.

Salary at E13 TV-L, individual research allowance, access to funding for research assistants, equipment, travel and collaborative projects, opportunities for international research visits and mentorship.

Applicants must have completed their PhD between 30 September 2024 and 1 October 2026, must not hold a permanent professorship or habilitation, and must propose research connected to a discipline represented at the University of Konstanz; international applicants are welcome.

Prepare and submit an English-language application including motivation letter, research proposal, CV, writing sample and two reference letters.
