Harry S. Truman Scholarship 2027

The Harry S. Truman Scholarship is a competitive, fully funded graduate-study scholarship for U.S. college juniors pursuing public-service careers. It provides up to $30,000 for graduate school, along with programming, mentoring, and opportunities for leadership development, with a highly selective national competition and required institutional nomination. Applicants must be nominated by their undergraduate institution and are evaluated on leadership, service, and potential for graduate-school success.

U.S. citizens who are college juniors and intend to pursue public-service careers; nomination by the undergraduate institution is required.
