Information

The DAAD Young Ambassadors Program is a funded volunteer opportunity for DAAD scholars and students to promote study and research opportunities in Germany at their home universities. It involves training and ongoing activities to encourage German study abroad, with protection of travel and accommodation within the US and Canada in the program. It is aimed at undergraduate students who have studied or are studying in Germany and who will promote Germany-focused study opportunities at their home institutions.

Eligibility

Undergraduate students who are nationals of India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal or Sri Lanka, have studied or are currently studying/researching in Germany, and are under 32 years of age as of 1 January 2027. They should be enthusiastic about promoting Germany via presentations or events and able to attend an online training workshop in November 2026.
