CSEA 2026 Africa’s Data Future Fellowship

The CSEA 2026 Africa’s Data Future Fellowship is a 3-month remote capacity-building programme for emerging leaders in the African data governance landscape. It targets early-career professionals in social sciences, law, technology or related fields and requires fellows to develop a policy brief and a blog on fellowship themes, presenting findings at a workshop. The fellowship is conducted online with bilingual sessions and includes masterclasses, mentorship, and a professional network in Africa.

Stipend upon completion; bi-weekly virtual masterclasses and expert sessions; fellows’ work featured on CSEA platforms; Pan-African professional network.

Applicants must hold a postgraduate degree, have at least one year of professional experience in social sciences, law, technology, or data policy, and be from and resident in any African country.
