Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment’s (DFFE) Bursary Programme 2027 for Young South Africans

The DFFE Bursary Programme offers financial support to South African students to study at higher learning institutions for the 2027 academic year. It is available to full-time students enrolled with a higher learning institution or individuals in Grade 12 (matric) who are not employed. The bursary covers a portion of tuition and related costs, with a maximum value of R80,000. Recipients are expected to participate in the internship program as part of the bursary contract.
