Schlumberger Foundation Faculty for the Future Fellowships 2027/2028

The Schlumberger Foundation Faculty for the Future Fellowships support women scientists from developing and emerging economies to pursue PhD or post-doctoral research in STEM fields at leading universities worldwide. Grants cover actual expenses such as tuition, living costs, and initial travel to the host country, with funding levels up to USD 50,000 per year for PhD studies and up to USD 40,000 for post-doctoral research. Fellows are expected to contribute to their home region after completion and demonstrate leadership and commitment to advancing women in STEM.

Funding for tuition/bench fees, living costs, accommodation, travel, visa, and conference expenses; potential access to host university resources and research opportunities.

Applicants must be female citizens of developing or lower-middle income countries, be preparing for a PhD or post-doctoral research in a STEM discipline, be enrolled/admitted or have applied to a host university abroad, have an excellent academic record, and be committed to returning to their home country or region after studies while demonstrating leadership and outreach in STEM.
