Information

The University of British Columbia Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program provides fully funded master's study opportunities for academically talented African students at UBC. It supports tuition, living stipends, travel, health insurance, and related program costs, with additional access to career services and a global alumni network. Eligible applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree, be 35 years old or younger, and be citizens or refugees from African countries, applying for one of the listed master’s programs at UBC.

Eligibility

African citizens or refugees, aged 35 or younger at time of application, who have completed a bachelor’s degree and are applying for a Master’s degree in one of the eligible programs listed by UBC.

Submit an expression of interest online for the general stream; eligible applicants proceed to the full application process with the selected faculty at UBC.
