Canada’s Volunteer Awards Program 2025

National awards recognizing volunteers, not-for-profit organizations, social enterprises and businesses across Canada for their contributions to communities. The program includes a Thérèse Casgrain Lifelong Achievement Award and regional awards, with certificates for all recipients and a grant to a registered not-for-profit organization chosen by each recipient.

All award recipients receive a certificate; recipients also choose a registered not-for-profit organization in Canada to receive a grant: $10,000 for the national award and $5,000 for regional awards.

Nominees can be individuals or groups, and businesses, not-for-profit organizations or charities that have contributed to addressing social challenges in their community in Canada.

Submit a nomination by the stated deadline via the nomination portal and ensure eligibility and required documents are in order.
