DSTI-CSIR Inter-programme Bursary Scheme 2027

The DSTI-CSIR Inter-programme Bursary Scheme is a fully funded bursary for full-time studies at South African public universities, available to students pursuing Honours or an equivalent fourth year/PG Diploma, Masters or Doctorate in aligned fields. Recipients receive a stipend plus additional benefits to support their postgraduate studies. The scheme supports pursuing degrees in specified thematic areas and may include research support and conference funding opportunities.

Stipend for tuition-related study, laptop allowance, experimental costs funding, conference attendance funding, mentorship opportunities, research and publication supports, and potential placement opportunities.

Full-time students registered or intending to register for Honours/fourth year engineering or a postgraduate diploma, Masters or Doctorate at a South African public university.
