Youth for Sustainable Policy (YSP) Global Policy Brief Competition 2026

The YSP Global Policy Brief Competition 2026 is a flagship global writing contest inviting youth to produce a concise, research-backed policy brief evaluating real-world climate and energy policy and proposing actionable improvements. It aligns with YSP’s Research & Policy and Environment tracks and serves as a pathway for publication, recognition, and advancement within YSP.

Gains experience in policy analysis and research; opportunities for publication and recognition; develops skills in translating complex data into persuasive policy arguments.

Open to ages 16–30: secondary and high school students in the Junior category, and university students, recent graduates, and young professionals in the Open category.
