Center for Democracy & Technology (CDT) Non-Resident Fellows Program 2026

The Center for Democracy & Technology (CDT) Non-Resident Fellows Program is a fully-fledged fellowship that brings leading scholars and academics into direct engagement with CDT’s policy work. Fellows participate in policy discussions, contribute research, and help inform CDT’s thinking on technology’s impact on society. The program supports a diverse range of disciplines and emphasizes bridging academic research with public-interest technology policy.

Engagement with CDT staff and experts, participation in working groups, attendance at CDT-branded events and webinars, and ongoing opportunities to contribute to CDT’s policy work.

Qualified applicants hold a full-time position at an academic institution; the program is not open to current students or post-doctoral researchers and candidates should preferably have a terminal degree or equivalent experience.
