Farm Radio International Worldwide 2026

Information

The Liz Hughes Award for Her Farm Radio is an annual prize recognizing excellent radio programs that serve women listeners. Winning programs can address any subject, as long as the program supports gender equality or highlights women’s experiences and perspectives. The winning broadcast team receives a certificate and a CAD 1,000 prize.

Eligibility

Any Farm Radio International broadcasting partner in sub-Saharan Africa can apply.

Application

Submit all required items via email to radio@farmradio.org; include the completed application form, a recording of the program, a transcript in one of the accepted languages, and a typical program lineup.
