Information

The Nordic Institutes for Advanced Studies (NNF-IAS), with support from the Novo Nordisk Foundation, offers a fully funded international postdoctoral fellowship programme. The first cohort provides 5 fellowships lasting 23 months, beginning on 2027-09-01 and ending in 2029-07-31, hosted at one of four Nordic institutes in Denmark, Finland, Norway, or Sweden. The theme for the current cycle is “Inequity in Health,” and projects from all disciplines are eligible if they relate to health inequalities or the relationship between health, the environment, and sustainability.

Benefits

Full-time salary, relocation assistance, travel costs for relocation, research budget up to €20,000, dedicated workspace, participation in courses, workshops, conferences and research events, and access to an international research network.

Eligibility

Applicants must hold a PhD and have between 2 and 10 years of professional and research experience after PhD completion; applicants from all nationalities are eligible, and must be willing to reside in the host country for the entire fellowship period.
